For you to be "impersonating law enforcement", don't you need lights/siren and to be pulling cars over?? If not there just busting your chops...

I don't think the impersonation charge stuck. I've considered doing the barricade theme myself and just didn't because after thinking about it, the theme would be hard to stick with.

I'd have to say Mickey probably switched to a murdered out theme because he wanted to change things up.

The ticket was probably for having a vehicle that resembles a law enforcement vehicle. You can't drive a car with a white door and the rest another color. The law is alittle more specific than that but you get the point.

Remember when you see old CHP vehicles or other law enforcement vehicles that have been resold? The doors are usually just primered or sometimes and X is put through the white door.

It's usually correctable though . . .

Glad it did not stick Mickey....... Miss you on the forum and I do know your in the Saleen section at times as I lurk in there from time to time. Its great to read the car is great and now more a beast then before and before it was f'ing amazing! Love the theme, the look, and the work done to it. Any plans for the motor in the future?

There was no way for them to make it stick. If they were to tickit him they would have to tickit every Geek Squad car in the country. There is no law about having white doors on a black car and old PD cars are sold off all the time that are "not" repainted. As long as there are no offical badges, lights and siren your good to go.

Your car looks great btw...Cali make geek squad take off their white doors as well. They are now black with a white roof and a geek squad logo on the black doors
