I think it depends also on what gauge solution you want.
I went with a mixed approach, using a PLX wideband controller, with a VEI digital wideband gauge. The PLX does not require calibrating, whereas the Innovate does. And being able to do hook up the output to the XCAL for datalogging was also a requirement of mine, and the PLX allowed me to do that.
I did consider the Innovate and AEM HUGO setups, too, but went with the above.
