Hi, I just got a 2006 Mustang GT with 29,000 miles and love it! This is the first forum I chose... Soooo hello to everybody! Also, what are the best performance mods for around 1700.00? I am looking through forums for questions like that, If I find some I will delete that. Thanks

Welcome! I'm sure you'll find this forum very useful. It's help me, a complete mechanical idiot, do several mods myself. It's also helped me to decide on several more complicated upgrades and where to get them done.

Just keep in mind that there is a search function available to help find answers on most questions. Everyone around here is friendly and is more than willing to help out if you can't find answers on your own.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on the car! A CAI and tune is #1 on just about everyone's list.

Most people on here tend to agree that a CAI and tune is one of the best performance mods u can do for the money. That's where most people start....just do a search and you will find a wealth of knowledge on the subject.

Thanks everybody for the welcome. Before I got on the forum I was checking out parts and noticed the tune is suppost to be a big help, I want to run high 12's even a 12.999 lol. My friend has a s2000 stock who thinks can take me and hsi cousin has a Pontiac G8 GT which is stick who said he would destroy me even if I modded my car. I just bought it becuase I liked it and now everyone wants to race me. They wont race my ducati tho, go figure.

cai tune headers and gears on my car made a huge diff. welcome man enjoy the stang

This forum has been very helpful to me. I've only had my car 4 months, and I've made quite a few small apperance mods with the help of this site. I'm also not very handy.

My Steeda CAI and tuner is shipping from Brenspeed today. I can't wait to get that on.
