How much is 2006 GT worth?
Hi
Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section, but I didn't find the pricing and dealer section, so I'll go ahead and shoot it here.
I'm looking to buy a GT. There are two for sale in my area that I like. Both 2006. Both around 20k miles and automatic. One is certified, Premium and asking price is 22900. Other one is not certified, and probably a basic trim one. Asking 19900.
I checked KBB, but in these times values are all over the place, so I'm pretty sure the actual GT owners can give a more accurate info on how much GTs go for nowadays.
Thank you

I just bought my 2008 premium GT about 6 months ago for a little over 27k I believe. It only had about 100 miles on it from people test driving it. It sounds like the 2006 premium is a pretty good deal for only 23k and 20k miles. Of course you should always try and talk the seller down a bit first. Maybe he is desperate to get rid of it and will give you a deal?

You guys HAVE to be kidding! In these times a 2006 GT shouldn't go more than the upper teens, tops. I just bought a 2006 V6 Pony Package with a host of other upgrades, garage kept with 9300 miles, in MINT condition (still had the plastic protective sheeting on the floor under the front mats!) from a dealer for $13,500 (after "negotiating", of course). A 2006 isn't going to move too quickly and you'd be surprised how much you can get them down. I wouldn't offer a penny over $17,500 for the premium. Give him your # and stop in about once or twice per week, ask if he's reconsidered and if not, tell him "See ya".

I bought my 06 gt vert last sept. with 25k on it and i got it for 16,500. You just have to pull your 'jew' out and play hard ball. Remind them their are other dealers out there with probally the same car. They should be happy your even looking these days. Just my .02

06 GT I would say it needs to be around 15-16k tops, don't use this board as a guide most guys on here are proud of their cars and want way too much money, guys were buying brand new '08 gt models in the spring for 22-23k range upper teens for an '06 you gotta be kidding me, I have seen '05 gt's with under 50 k for less than 13k. locally I saw an 07 premium for 16k figure it went for that or less from a private seller
