Default Pre Show Wash and wax

Waxed

Washed and waxed the car before the show today, turned out great. First show, did not win but had a good time.

Looks great! You may want to consider trying Pinnacle Souveran paste wax since you have a black car. It adds a depth I have never seen with any other product and I have been waxing my cars for over 30 years.

You are supposed to get thirty waxes for the $70.00 price tag. I think it is worth it if you can afford it, because of three major reasons: #1, it is so easy to apply. You can actually wipe it on with one hand and wipe it off with the other (wax on, wax off). #2, it will allow you build up layers of wax without yellowing. I have six coats on mine and it just keeps getting better with each coat. #3, the depth of the shine is amazing. It looks like you can stick your finger into the shine on my hood. Some people will tell you the "boutique" waxes are rip-offs. My boss was using some high end Zymol on his Lotus that he paid over $400 for an 8oz container. He has switched to the Pinnacle Souveran on his now that he has seen mine. This wax works best on red, black or any other dark car. I tried it on my wife's silver S80 Volvo and could not see the same affect. Here is a shot of my hood with five coats on it so you can see for yourself. Your car looks great either way you decide to go.
