Yeah, I've noticed that too. It's frustrating, I paid a lot of money for this car and it's just not dependable because of the transmission problems. I could've put a damn blower on the car for all I've spent on the transmission.

i hope my light stays off.i cant afford a rebuilt at this moment.let me tell you people go about saying how good bama is about the auto tune but i had so many problems with their tune that i regret doing business with them.ever since i switch to brenspeed i havent had a single problem.

My transmission does not want to shift from 2nd into 3rd. If I continue accelerating my RPM's move sky-high but there's no power unless I let off the gas and then you can hear it shift.
The O/D light was flashing on and off at first.
Now I'm getting a CEL code P0745.
Could a blown intake manifold gasket cause this or is my transmission going?

It seems like most of the people having shifting issues have also changed rearend gears. I know in my 01 which had a 4r70w when I changed gears & the converter and added a blower my car would not shift right at all. after I had it on the dyno, the tuner had actually drive my car around for a couple hours to get everything set right. Between part throttle shift timing, pressure, WOT shift timing and pressure, converter lock up etc, there are a lot of variables. If you have ever seen the various options available in the tuning software you know what I am talking about. From the research I have done, there are very few people out there who know how to properly tune an automatic transmission.

TCI 5R55S STREET FIGHTER TRANSMISSION 850 HP
OR
TCI 5R55S SUPER STREET FIGHTER TRANSMISSION 1200 HP
As for converters I was looking at the:
TCI 5R55S STREETFIGHTER TORQUE CONVERTER 3000 STALL
OR
PI Multi-Disc Torque Converter 2800-3000 STALL
Is a 3000 stall a decent stall speed for daily-driving?

I've heard of a few people who had the "O/D OFF" light start blinking and it goes away upon restart and nothing ever comes of it, but these people aren't having issues with the way the transmission is shifting either. I think the OP has a legitimate problem. And it doesn't matter how you drive, it may have showed up after a WOT run but I've found that when it occurs most often is at slow speeds, like in parking lots and city driving. OP, do you have another car you can drive? I'd get your car checked out before driving it too much longer.
