Smile How much to install Gears and Exhaust?

I got a friend that is going to give me his 3.73 gears and his H pipe Flow master Exhaust. They are from a 2004 Mustang Mach 1. So will they fit?

Also how much would it cost to get these new mods installed?
Thanks.

the gears should fit. the exhaust, or h pipe. i'm not so sure of. install in the area for the gears i've read is in the 200-300$ range.

I'm not 100% sure about the gears but if they're 8.8 you should be good. Some people say you might need to buy bearing kit depending how good yours is but since 07 I don't think it'll be a problem.

Gears I think they're kinda pricey to get done at a shop somewhere around 200-300 where I'm at.

If you're doing midpipe and catback maybe another 250 for that.

Honestly, I would not put the gears in, unless they are new in da box. You can find them new for like $125-$175. I would not chance puting in used gears. Could become a can of worms real fast.

ya the gears are 8.8 so they should fit. Would it be much of a difference from 3.55 to his 3.73's or should I not risk the problems from the gear install.

He's correct about that, didn't notice your car is an 07 the 04 exhaust won't fit.

As far as the gears going from 3.55 to 3.73 you won't notice much difference I wouldn't spend the money on that unless you're going 4.10 where you'll feel the difference.

Ok guess I will just try to get the H Pipe if his brothers shop in Orlando can install it, if it fits. Told my friend I would pass on the gears. Now I just hope the exhaust can fit or be made to fit.
