geez man. i'd be going over her head.. for sure, and finally a formal complaint. no doubt in my mind. obviously this isn't the first ****ty business they have done and nobody has done anything about it. you paid a hell of alot of money for that thing i'm sure.. go get your money's worth.

I've seen Sterling try to repair a F360 door and it had a huge drip of paint on the outside. There's a difference between people who know what they are doing and people who just read a book on it practice for a few hours and come into work drunk when they get hired by a business intent on profit instead of quality.

Admittedly the huge drip of paint was sort of hard to see because it was on the cooling duct vein.

I suggest you call your insurance company and tell them the work was not done properly. Did the insurance company pay the shop directly? If so, and the work needs to be re-done at additional cost somewhere else, they are in the position to get the money back from the first shop. The insurance company may want to send an adjuster to the shop to look at the car. The insurance company may have more clout with the shop than you do. Good luck.

answer to first question. Yes insurance pays them directly. otherwise I would have been somewhere else lol

Does that last part mean that if a second shop messes it up the insurance won't care anymore ?? So far this insurance company has been good to me. I have USAA.. I would hate to drop them.. but if need be I'll kick them to the curb for someone else.
Yes, they can't be responsible for a shop they didn't recommend.

The great news for you is, you have USAA, which is the best.
Not one of the best, but the best. Period.
So, they'll see that the car is right...

I feel your pain, I noticed a dent in my hood shorty after I bought it brand new. Long story short the hood was replaced and the paint was horrible, I sat there and watched them wet sand it for 3 hours after i refused to take it, still looks like crap today. Its hard to get decent work.
