Beside Sound, what does an Exhaust do for you?

In older vehicles it could increase or decrease back pressure, which you could gain a benefit on depending on your application. On todays EFI vehicles, the ECUs can compensate and recalibrate for loss of backpressure. So, just mufflers, really nothing other than sound. A complete header back or cat back will gain rwhp.

Sound only on our S197's. Only putting headers on, specifically long tubes (LT's) although shorties will provide a bit less gain, will you gain anything noteworthy with our exhausts. The stock exhaust on these cars flow darned well for stockers.
