Well I've read that air to air is more efficient and less to go wrong.

Isn't one good aspect of the Procharger that it has a dedicated 8 rib belt? And you can't deny that the Procharger whistle is intoxicating.

I for one just do not like the way the procharge setup looks. The Air filter is over the engine sucking hot air which is kind of weird.

The Paxton has a much nicer setup and the Air filter is pulling in cooler air or in my case its getting nice cold air from my ram air hood which dumps its air directly on the air filter.

A friend of mine with an 01 went with a blow through setup with his vortech. Its a air to air FMIC that he got for around 200 with piping. He did it all himself and its awesome. Also got the mondo discharge unit. His old air to water setup always got heat soaked in about 30 minutes of driving. With the new air to air setup he runs ambient charge temps with no heat soaking occurring.

You could still do a draw through and do a custom FMIC setup. Might be a bit more work than you want to do but its an option.

But for sure the pro charger comes with a air to air setup and that's really all I would do. air to water just doesn't make sense to me and it doesn't work that well.

Well I might look into the Brenspeed Non IC vortech for now, Chicago doesn't get that hot, and then add in an air to air IC after I get use to the new found power! Isn't the Paxton and Vortech pretty much the same unit, I thought one owned the other.

Not according to Vortech's site, they say 420 for the standard and 462 for the HO... http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/product.php?p=94
