Default idle speed drops to zero

Here recently my car idle speed has been dropping to zero. Put in reverse push on clutch dies. First gear dies. Slowing down in neutral the idle bounces from low 150ish to 750ish sound like it is going to die. Though at first it was the tune (I had this tune in car for a year w/o problem) put stock back in still does it. I still have all stock execpt K&N air filter which has been in the car for over a year also. No other mods to the car. So far no codes are being put out either.

Any ideas.

Start with the easy stuff. Clean the air filter, replace the fuel filter.

Sounds to me like its not getting enough air or fuel.

Did a little searching and this guy also had the same issue:

He actually got a check engine light which made it easier to diagnose.

Clean the Airfilter,TB, and check the fuel filter (also might wanna poke at your MAF sensor.)

More info. Cleaned TV and MAF. Runs good without AC. Turn on AC and I get surging. Does not die yet but drops low then gooses itself back up.

Try reflashing and starting the car while cold. Let idle until warm. Turn on the AC and let it idle for a while. Usually the car will relearn the AC again. After that go out and drive it around. Acceleration and decels, idles and cruising.

My car does this since I very rarely use the AC. At idle, the AC drops it down to around 500 rpms. After about 10 minutes it gets better.
