Default Synth to Dino oil change mix up help?

Took my DD Nissan Pathfinder to my shop today to get inspected and tires rotated. They just called me to say it was done and they did this, that, and changed the oil....I never asked them to change the oil, I do it myself and it's synthetic. Obviously they used dino. Guy says sorry, we'll make sure to put synth back in - no charge.

Do I need to worry about this back and forth with the oil?

You don't have to worry about it I've run synth and used dino in a pinch, then switched back to synth in cars (not in the Stang so far but others) and no ill effects.

it should be fine.
but who is to say they put syn back in it.
I always do my own oil changes, Because I know it is done right.
and to prevent this from happening I have some of these stickers to put over the dipstick and/or fillercap.
(the bottom one...)

That's really screwed up what they did... I'd be extremely pissed if they would mess up something like that. Even though others said it's no harm on the car that would really frustrate me, don't want people be messing around with my car.

They are compatible. Don't sweat it.
