Losing My Shirt...Again

Losing My Shirt...Again
I fully aware that cars are not an investment but unfortunately for me, they are my passion. I'm selling my 07 Z06 after losing about 18 grand in 14 months. YIKES... So here's my question: Which of the following would be the best choice "investment wise"?
1. Keep modding my 07 GT
2. Buy a GT 500
3. Buy a Roush
4. Buy a Super Snake.
Which option would I lose the least? If I bought a Super Snake, is it likely to plummet like my Z06 has?

In my opinion:
1. you never get the money back that you put in when it comes to mods
2. collectable but not as much as a kr
3. roush cars are cool, but they're fairly common (and easy to imitate)
4. KRS ARE AWESOME and I think it would hold its value better, especially in a rare color combo. (Why so many silver with blue stripes?)
But... I can't predict the future so I don't know how the KR will depreciate...
Maybe ask a collector?

Why dont you want the zo6? Those things are really good all around cars.
Sounds like you made up your mind though.
I would say best choice is either the roush or the super snake. The regular gt500 isnt special at all so it would probably lose the most.
If I were you I would spend the money that you are going to spend on a new car and spend it on your 07 gt and make it real fast. Most of those parts you can take off later and resell for a decent amount of money.
Overall I am sure you will have fun in any of the cars but financially I would say the super snake because it is probably the rarest of all of those.
Forgot to add, are you talking 09's or 2010's? I figured you meant getting an 09

It's a sucker's bet to assume that any of those cars will ever be worth more than you paid. Based on that, the best you can reasonably hope for is to mitigate your losses, especially after taking it up the a** on that Vette. Modding the GT would accomplish that the best out of the choices you gave.
Still, I would buy the Super Snake.

Great responses so far. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for any of these to go up in value. I just don't want another car that's going to cost me dearly like the vette has. The reason I want out of the vette is "I can't stand corvette owners any longer". Moreover, I can't stand being lumped in with them. I love the look of the SS over the KR. There's just something about that single stripe with those 20 inch wheels that just works on the S197. But I would hate to spend 75K on another car and have it drop like a stone. If I took another 18K dollar hit in depreciation. I would have lost 36 thousand dollars in just a few yrs. I love cars but there driving me into the poor house...Literally.

It your looking at investment value get an older restored 67-68' Mustang GT with a 390 or 428CJ.You get a nice looking car and if you sell it you'd prolly break even after a few years of ownership. You can drive or show it and still come out ahead with all the fun you had with it.
