opinion on corner lenses
#21
In my opinion the clears were too bright on a vista blue. I went with the black lenses and love them. I'll post a picture up in a few. Of course, I have a CS so a lot of the front end is black and the black stripe on the side. But my vote would still be black!
Here is a pic, qualities not all that good, but you get the idea.

my first thought was to get the clear ones bc i have chrome rims and white stripes so i thought the black ones might look out of place...but at the same time i dont want the clear ones to be too bright

I have a vista blue and love the switch to clear corner lenses. Gives the car a much more "classy" look if you know what I mean.
I don't think that they're too bright or anything - they're clear, just like your headlights, so they should match.

Mississippimustang, Here's my theory on corners. Corner lenses are not something that you want to accentuate or draw attention to. Let's face it, they're not wheels or a hood scoop. What looks right to me is to have them blend with the headlight lens directly above it. I felt the clears were too bright as you can see in the earlier posts. The black is too dark and once again draws attention. But the smoked are just right IMO. Here's another view of smoked:

HIDs have a darker look because of the arc shield in the headlight assembly. So I used the smoked corners and it matches great.
Standard headlights are brighter looking than HIDs and would look better with clear corners - a better match IMO.
