wow, talk about resurrecting an old thread!
i did actually figure out the seafoam thing (thanks for the vid though 07). as far as the smell, i just attributed it to the sulfur in the gas... i've moved to a different state since i originally posted this and while it isn't as bad, i still notice it on occasion... oh well

Well, I hate to here you still got the problem, mines gotten alittle better since arriving back on the mainland. Hense the reason I was considering the Sea Foam treatment as well.
Thanks and have a good one.

^^ glad to hear the smell for yours has gotten better, but i would still do the seafoam as sort of a preventative measure and just to clean all the junk out... plus it makes for a good smoke show

You can test your sensors with a DVOM. It's easier off the car but can be done with them on the car.
a 7 year old car with such low miles hasn't gotten driven much which is why I'm leaning towards fouled O2 sensors. Burning rich and the cats can't convert all of the H2S from the engine to odorless
The sensors could be responding within spec but with limited range. Corrosion or fouling will cause this but not necessarily throw a code like with a defective circuit within the O2 sensor or a sensor that has just plain failed.
H2S is corrosive by itself (Acidic Gas) so you may also start to see some blackening at your exhaust tips.
LOL just realized OLLLLLLLDDD THREAD! Sorry!
Check the sensors, if those are fine, I'd look into the cats next.
