Ok, I was wondering where is the best place to download MP3's from, cheap, but legal? I've done the old P2P junk and have tons of music that way. But now, I'd rather use some clean, legal site and not deal with pop-ups & virrus' all the time. So, tell me where ya'll get your music from? I just want to be able to get some good, high quality MP3's and then burn them onto CD's for the car. Although I have gig's of music, it seems like I keep listening to the same stuff, everyday? I need newer, updated music.

i use kazaa lite..no popups or anything...or searching for "song title.mp3 download" in google works well to...the music companies mp3s cant always be burnt to a cd..and are crappy quality

I use LimeWire. If has no pop ups or any or that crap and is really fast.

Cant help you on the legal part.

I second the limewire, way better than kazaa, where every download was either a virus or the song was a different song or had screeching noise added in to it.
Limewire has multiple search tabs too.

Hmm I did not know Limewire and Kazza became legal download services? How much do they charge?
If you want a good legal service I use Apples ITunes and it works perfect. Don't even have to have an Ipod or anything to put them on discs or on another mp3 player. 99 cents if you only like one song, or the full albums usually go for around 9.99.

it's a russian site that "sells" mp3's. You can pick your bit rate and # of passes (I like 192kbps and 2-pass). The most expensive song is like 15 cents. That's like an entire album for $1
