he went by ikona and he did send the one I ordered to me, fit and finish was perfect, he did a real nice job and I would still have it today if someone here in South Florida hadn't decide to pry the one I had out and take it, I still have a scratch where they pried it out.

WHAT? WOW! That has to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

How come you never got it replaced?

I am looking for this if anyone can point me in the right direction?
(I am also looking for a budget mod here)

Shoot! I just tried our Corvette Invisilock on the Mustang hoping it was the same size )-:

Mustang key hole is slightly smaller.

I'll check with our magnet suppliers and see if i can get the correct size. They work great and match perfectly. They have been huge for the Corvette crowd.

That is the ticket....
PartsGuyBill, do you know the Ford part# for that one?
I think you can make it work with our pass. side one.
You'd just have to reverse the hammer to make it work.
I'll look into that, I have an extra handle at the shop...

Sorry I know this is an old post, but I just saw these covers in person on a vette at the world of wheels here in Atlanta. I have a 2003 Mustang. Would it cover the 03? Years ago I saw a cover that went over the entire keylock cylinder. I have not been able to locate it since.

Check out Doorplugs™ at www.bumperplugs.com. Another route would be to buy an Autozone - Dorman type black trim plug that will cover the lock circle and fit nicely in the recess and paint it to match body color. Some careful trim work and fit up of the push in portion might be necessary to attach to the lock slot, or use an adhesive to keep it in place

You dont need the key hole....until your battery dies and the remote doesn't open the door anymore.
