Default Stage 2 or Stage 3 Saleen

Hello!

I'm looking at getting either the Stage 2 or stage 3 Saleen kit from Brenspeed, I can't decided as I know the stage 2 is safer for a DD being less boost, or getting the stage 3, what do you all suggest?

Thanks!

11.9 on stock tires and suspension? That's damn good.

Stay tuned for their E-Force kits.

Naugh, I'm not biased. :-)

I got the Saleen stage 3 as well. Its alot of power, to be honest, Graygt07's numbers seem kinda low. Also, he does not appear to have a problem with his auto yet, but my manuals clutch is having a very hard time holding. Its stock now and a stage 3 going in soon.

Think of it this way, the stage 3 is like the highest you want to go without supporting mods. But your flirting with the borderline of mechanical limits, and you will need to put money into supporting mods sooner then you would lower stages.

I love it though, but if a very good daily driver and reliability is a big concern as well, worth your time to check into the Vortech kits at brenspeed. A lot cheaper and still makes dam good power. most the cars we see on here with the base kit put out 420ish RWHP under good conditions.

I do love my saleen though. If you get it, be ready to hear some serious WHINE

My goal is about 420RWHP, but I definitely want a positive displacement system

Just do the stage 3. If it proves to be too much just get a bigger pulley and different tune. Than if you ever want the power back its there.

just get stage the stage 3 and baby it till you do some of the other upgrades you will need to do. If you dont care about more power go for the stage 2 and save yourself some money for other stuff. The list is endless,as are the possibilities,

The Stage 3 is by far our most popular kit. I would say that 90% of our customers that purchase the stage 2 or 1 kit will end up upgrading to the stage 3 within a year. We have never had a stage 3 fail on our watch as well. If I were to choose a SC today, I would choose a Saleen and it would be a Stage 3.
