Default Making axle backs to mid mufflers?

I was wondering what would happen if I made my pypes violators a mid muffler system. Would it change the sound at all? I mean like cut the tips and weld them into the mid pipe.

Well I'm sure it would change some, but good luck fitting them under there anywhere, you pretty much have to use a bullet style muffler to fit there.

fitment is tight. M80's are about $45 each on summit or jegs.

But I read that the M80s are really loud and used more as resonators before a muffler?

What does the pypes MM setup on the s197 use as a muffler?

I got m80s with high flow cats It's not that loud, but you can hear it, personally I wouldn't change my exhaust for anything I love the sound of it.

the M80's are technically a muffer bc they have sound deadening material. but it deadends the sound just a little bit, so it's still pretty loud.

there was someone on here i remember reading about, complete with pics and everything, that used flowmasters as a mm setup, dont remember a name or where exactly he fit them or even if it was the standard 05-09 flowmaster axelback or if he used 2 universal flows and placed them somewhere in midpipe.
