Rip.. you got them all upset over there. I don't think they read much of what you say though because you've being pretty nice to em! I agree the challenger looks great! My friend has a 1970 though.. so I couldn't own a new one as eventualy i'd have to park next to him. Thats the one time they really show their fat

I was <this> close to buying an SRT, but I couldn't justify the price they wanted, and lets remember its still a Dodge. Only one Dodge gets a waiver, and that's the Viper. My wife and I drove an SRT Charger and loved it. Bad *** power and gobs of room. What a nice sedan. But $50k??? Like I said, its still a Dodge.

I think the Challenger is the best looking of the 3 "retro" vehicles. The Camaro the least good looking of the 3.
Dodge has overpriced the Challenger. That's the main problem.
Many of the Challenger guys are pretty cool but some of them just reek of arrogance. From how they speak you'd think the only reason they got the car is to get attention from people.

In the October issue of Motor Trend, they have an article called "Thrill Rides, Best Driver's Car, 10 Contenders, one winner." The 2010 Ford Shelby GT500 placed a respectable 5th. Camaro SS was 10th, Corvette ZR1 placed 6th. First was 2009 Porsche Cayman S PDK.
I am upset with their comparison back in the summer with the Challenger RT Vs Camaro SS Vs Mustang GT, but according to MT, they placed cars against each other that were within the same price range. I guess if Camaro had the Z28 out they could place it against the RT8 and the GT500.

I would have had a Challenger if it didn't cost so much and if I could fit comfortabley in one. I love the way they look and the power is great. I thought a car that big would have more leg room then the Mustang but I was wrong when I went to look at them.
It almost looks liek they have the same amoutn of room but the Challegers driver seat doesn't go back as far as the Mustang.

+1 the challenger does look cool but yeah its heavy as crud and way way over priced. Camaro looks nice as well but I dont really see to many out there. I'me only ever seen one in a parking lot. I'm just happy all this muscle is coming back, especially in these days. Alot of the other choices of cars/trucks just look retarded. why drive some ugly piece of crap every day because it gets 5mpg better? screw that, make a hybrid that looks like a challenger stang or camaro and ill pay double the price of a prius
