2005 4.0L 6 Cylinder for sale at dealer - advice
#13
sorry, should have made it clear - it's up for $13.5 CDN, so roughly $12.5 USD. - oh and its done 65k kilometers, not miles.
still, from what you are saying, sounds like a bit costly for an 05 V6.
just been looking at getting hold of them in the states and you basically get stung big time on import duties etc. etc. - they even charge $100 if you bring in a vehicle with air conditioning - what's that all about?
merely browsing right now, so will see what else is on the horizon.
thanks for the advice.
cheers

ok - next question (not sure it whether it should be in another thread) - however, what would the deal be on a warranty?
Matey has one for private sale (2005 V6) and he says "Manufacturer’s Warranty Valid until August 2010"
sounds like a big old warranty on a 5 year old vehicle.
(60k kilometres for $12k CDN, btw)

I have never heard of a 5 year warranty in 2005, I didn't think that Ford started that until late 2006 and offered it on the earlier bought 2006's but not on the 2005. I think i'd get the VIN and call and ask Ford what's left on the warranty.
But again, why would you spend 12k CDN on a v6. Why aren't you looking at a GT for the same price.
NO MORE THAN 10K CDN FOR A V6... Be patient... But of course in the end it's your money.
