gettin city mpg on highway

Unhappy gettin city mpg on highway

Ok this is getting frustrating i had headers on my car for two month now and i get 16.5 city and highway aswell i dont know whats going on ever since i installed mac lt headers i been getting really bad mpg on the highway its understandable on city but highway wow i used to get 27 highway and 19 city what could be wrong i everything is bolted on i even got the o2 sensor extention what do i need to do to fix this problem

um I get 20.3 mpgs on the HWY....with 4.10's

probably need to drive highway more too. How long is your typical highway trip? 40-50 Miles?

wow really thats reall good do u have lt headers i want to up grade my gears but i know it will hurt my mpg is my every day driver and i really drive i say 10-15 miles on the freeway the most i drive the street more than highway i think i should have one with shorties headers

It could be worse lol, I was getting ~15.5 mpg driving 80-90% highway. Though I did get ~18.5 mpg all hwy on the ride home after switching back to the stock torque converter before my transmission crapped out on me again. Hopefully I can get that mpg consistantly once the car is driveable again.

Now who wants to do that? Yeah, my mpg is bad but I'm not complaining...if I wanted great fuel efficientcy I would've bought a Prius (actually I wouldn't have, I would never buy a damn Prius lol).

i do i driving it like a old man bro lol! it;s my everyday driver i even get up extra early so i could drive a bit slower to get to work lol!! it's my every day driver and its hurting my pocket on gas

yeah hybrids suck but oh well i i guess i just have to get used to it i guess what should my next mod be? i have lt headers off road xpipe borla cat backs jlt intale with sct x3 91 tune
