Unhappy 05' MF'r in Need of Your Kindness

Hi guys, I haven't posted in awhile because I've been pre-occupied. First, I apologize that this is somewhat off topic but I couldn't find anywhere to post it and seeing as I have been a very active member in the past - I hope I can get it by.

My 20-year old brother was just diagnosed with a very rare (1/100,000) and devastating illness called Guillian Barra Syndrome. This causes the body's immune system to attack itself repeatedly until it has fried every nerve ending. It creates a paralysis from the toes up until it is combated with one of two treatments. Luckily, Kyle has been treated before it crushed his ability to breathe but is still at the hospital (and will be for awhile). He is a physically fit athlete who is full of life and has a huge heart for people (not to mention Mustangs!) and now he is completely immobile. He has to be fed and helped to the bathroom until the 9-months of physical therapy have been administered, at which point we hope and pray he has a full recovery.

In an attempt to raise awareness of his situation and help to gain donations that will be used to pay for the medical bills that have grown now past a quarter of a million dollars and the required physical therapy, I have created a website.

http://getwellkyle.org

From here you can choose to donate or even enter yourself in a contest for an 8GB iPod Touch by simply tweeting a message via Twitter. I don't expect for you to donate, but anything you can do such as promote this website to your friends, family and churches would be a great help.

He needs all the support he can get. Again, I apologize if this is invading our forums. I just didn't really know where to turn to.

Thank you all, I appreciate the kind words and thoughtful prayers, so does Kyle (my brother) and family.

Thank you for the donations even though you don't have to and thank you for helping to promote his cause.

I thought I would try at least one bump on this thread seeing as how I feel it is important enough, at least to me.

That sucks man, sorry to hear that.

But anytime someone comes on here asking for help from now on all I can think about is "BUDDY DANK"

Same to you 05'! Good to hear from you.

Thanks everyone! And remember, any promotion you can do is worth just as much as a donation.

Thanks!
