Default Edelbrock Upper trailing arm

Just wondered if anybody had experience with the adjustable Edelbrock Upper trailing arm or indeed any Upper trailing arm using solid links.
I was looking to increase geometry rigidity and optimise the pinion-driveshaft angle using this adjustable link as mine is lowered 1.5" but wondered what impact it might have on driveline smoothness.....?
