how do you bake the intake without warping it?

That would be pretty sweet to get a color matched intake...I'm just concerned about the warpage of plastic in the oven during the curing process

well it is a different type of plastic so it can handle some heat. we bake them at 350 deg f for 15 min to cure the powder, and we tested it to see how durable it is and after testing we have came to the conclusion that it is just as strong as any powder on metal. it isnt warped at all we bake it on a flat piece of metal to keep it from warping. i checked it for that after we were done. the chrome we have looks like a piece of billet aluminum that has been polished up real good, but it looks like that all the time and if you want to clean it all you have to do is just wipe it down with a terry cloth

it doesnt take 600 deg to bake any powder. all it takes is 350 deg f to cure it. most powder says to cure it at 375-385 but it want cure below 350 properly. so that is what we cure it at. that is how i can do it.

The peices look really good. I have the intake off my 2009 GT that I would like to sell. Make me a reasonable offer and it is all yours. Maybe we can work a deal! I would like to do something with my valve covers, they are plain jane at the moment and the engine bay needs some color or chrome!
