We tried clear on mine and they just turned dull and gray.. I don't know anything about brands though so maybe the stuff you use works better.. Here is a pic of mine after just the chrome coat.. Maybe that is why they look shinier than the ones in your pic?

mine look like that now. pm me and we can talk dkersten. your camera takes a better pic then mine. there is no change from just chrome to chrome and clear.

This would cost you about $75 at your local powder coating shop. Not trying to rip on your thread but im sure if people knew they didnt have to ship there stuff out they wouldnt.


I had both my mufflers powder coated and both my grilles and it cost me $60.

I would powder coat over paint anyday way more durable.

your pieces look sweet though especially the boring black intake.
