Default How much is my stang worth?

So I was wondering how much you guys think I can pull for my car. I am thinking about moving onto a new project and starting from scratch. Its a 2005 and I just hit the 50k mile mark. All the mods are listed on my site in my sig. Would appreciate the input, thanks!

i would say you could squeeze 22K out of it, @ the most.... but you're gonna have to sell the "custom" part pretty well... and it would be to someone that doesnt know too much about these cars....

+1. if you sell it to a savy buyer, you could get around 22-23K for it. If you sell it to someone who could care less about the S/C, then probably around 19K. If that is the case, pull the S/C and the rims off and sell them on the forums or somewhere else. I'd leave the rest of the stuff on the car as it probably wouldnt be feasable to pull them off and sell them.

Atleast that way, you could recover some of the money you have invested in aftermarkets.

I guess I'll be a nay-sayer then.

please don't take this personal. but these are valid points that people will be considering.

1. 2005 model - it is already 5 model yrs old.
2. HEAVILY MODIFIED - I personally don't mind minor things like exhaust, shifter...but after that, well you have to wonder why is it being sold? what is wrong with it? what is about to break?
3. Blower - see #2. Blowers are usually a negative aspect unless the vehicle came with it (ie: Terminator)

that is the biggest 3 issues I would have personally. Were I to come see your car, I most likely wouldn't even bother honestly.

For the average "Idiot" car-buyer, these most likely would not be considerations. But for a true motor-head...you will have issues. Hopefully you have records, reciepts, basic information. That will do alot to sway a potential buyer.

all that being said, I can see maybe $15-18,000. It is 5yrs old after all. Blowers aren't so expensive as to warrant trying to get $22,000. And we all know how Mods & the $$$ you spent doesn't carry over.

Best of luck man.

edit: maybe you'll get lucky and find some little rich Brat. I've sold a few cars to those idiots before. I only got 'em for $1,000 over Fair-Market-Value...but you'd be surprised at what some people will pay without flinching
