$850 is a bargain for insurance against blowing it up. Not that it would be indestructible even with the fuel pump.

My philosophy is to overbuild for the desired performance. But I'm an engineer. A half-full glass is one designed not to spill.

...and if it does, then I guess it's not as bad as it could have been if the glass had been full...LOL

Even the stock pump on mine was good for about 5500 RPMs and was not maxed out until 6500 RPMs but this was with 60# injectors from the start. Get the BAP in the meantime and upgrade in say a yr. It will be hard to not go over 5500 RPMs IMO esp after you get used to the power and want more......trust me on this....I already want to build the motor and up the boost for 600 RWHP....still have a huge grin on my face everytime I get in and drive her (even with 465 RWHP)
On that note my tuner insists the stock pump is good for about 500 RWHP......

either way, it still runs like a raped ape. 477hp/423tq. i actually broke the tires loose in 4th gear with a 4000RPM punch. it was pretty cool, but a little scary at first. i guess these blowers take some getting used to huh???
Yes they do take some getting used to but that is part of the fun.....remember when that wears off you will be wanting more.....Its like with tattoo's....they get addicting and now I have 3 when I originally wanted only one.
Good luck with the new COP's which ones did you go with.....the stockers IMO are more then adequate for 500RWHP

It should not make any difference in circuit failure IMO......

I had the 60# inj since install of the S/C with the stock pump in place. This helped reduce the duty cycle of the stock pump and my tuner said that the spray pattern is much better with the 60# inj's.

I now have the GT500 pumps and your good for 700 RWHP and then a couple BAP's and your good for 900 RWHP (of course the whole fuel system should be gutted and changed after 700 RWHP IMO- like the fuel lines and rails etc)

Jared from Lethal Performance (sponsor) can help get the right combo for you and the fuel systems he has range in any HP dept you could possibly need. Top notch stuff!!!!

Oh spend the extra money to get the injectors flow tested and matched....makes a huge difference...

Whatever you decide I am sure in a short period of time you will want more HP!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on getting Blown!!!!!! feels great doesn't it?!

Very nice numbers, another happy procharged mustang, and I'd get the gt500 pumps if you can afford it, worth it for sure, and if you want to go with more boost in the future you'll have the fuel to match it. You got any pic of the install or anything?

How does that Procharger sound when it idles? Is it pretty loud? Which head unit did you go with?
