I have a clear bra on my '08. I believe the brand I have is called ventureshield. It was about $500 installed. But it looks nice.

The only thing I regret is not getting the stripes painted. They are currently vinyl with the bra over the top. At just the right angle, there is a clear line next to the each strip, where the bra goes up from the body to the stripe. But it is only from a certain angle.

I have SpeedFilm (http://www.speedfilm.net/), proform design (https://store.proformdesign.com/Articles.asp?ID=136), and I too paid $500 for everything (materials & labor)

Ok, price seems to be the only downside. The clear bra is a significant jump in price from the traditional black ones. I've been able to find do-it-yourself kits online for about $350. Of course, that's about what it will cost to have my current dings and chips repaired and painted.

...and if you do only repair the existing chips and nothing else, they'll just continue to come back with all these horrible Atlanta interstates that we have here.

So true! I commute 80 miles each way down I85 South, and 50 solid miles of that are under construction with a 50 mph speed limit.

With the way people drive around here i wish i had an entire sheild for my car.
I commute to school which consists of a short drive down 75 (exit 216 to 201) and in that short distance i have to put up with some terrible drivers. People always like to cut right in front of me (which resulted in a crack in my windshield i still need to fix)

Clear bra is definitely the way to go if it's in the budget. I got the complete nose, 18" on hood and fenders for $480. It cost me right at $500 to repair the nose and hood on my 2005 from rock chips and "Love Bug" damage. Those from Central and South Florida know what I am talking about with the "Love Bugs"

definitely a reason for needing a bra...I have been through that construction area and it is horrible!

I'm in Canton, North of Woodstock, GA. Do you ever get out to any of the local events?
