06 Factory HID problem?
The passenger headlight sometime wont turn on when I first turn the lights on... so I have to quickly turn my lights off and on and it will power up... normally on the first try..... sometimes I will have to do it a few times... anyone know a fix or this?

IThe passengers side is on the verge of going out.
They HID bulbs only live for so long
and act differently than filiment bulbs
when they go bad. Filiment bulbs die,
HIDs have intermittant operation...
Like a street light that cycles constantly....
Or the passengers side ballast is on the verge of being non-functional....
Swap the bulbs side for side and see if
the problem follows the bulb or stays with the ballast...
Or a trip to the stealership will fix you right up.
The OEM HIDs just went down a notch in my book if ballasts
are going bad within 3 years of use...

The start-up is what kills HIDs unlike filiment bulbs
that can take power-ups with ease.
Now if you turned on your headlights and left
them on constantly then the HIDs would outlive
a common filiment bulb....

Gotcha. Makes sense. I'm glad my RetroSolutions kit has a lifetime warranty.

Post title states 'Factory HID'.
I dont think he 'put them on'.
Unless he is a 'Factory'.
Diodes, resistors, relays, whats the difference.
Its one of the three that you need.....
Resistors for taillights, relays for headlights
and not sure what mod calls for diodes.
Can you clue us in on that one?
ps your SJB wont like the factory GT500 HIDs
without reprogramming the SJB or adding relays.
05s are picky like that..
