The first time I hit 100 I thought "hmm, that didn't take much effort."

AND, they LIKE being in triple digits for extended periods. Before recently moving to the godforsaken Chicago area, I used to travel anywhere from 400-900 miles one way, almost twice a month. A bit of that would usually be desolate highway and I'd find a rabbit to run with for extended periods at speeds between 90 and 120. She just purrs along...

Reminds me of a drive I took to Arizona. 6 hours drive from so cal to the grand canyon and I spent about 2 hours cruising with another GT that came along. Every now and then I'd cruise up from 80 to 100 or 110 and he'd stay right there on my wing. Made the drive go by much faster.

Ever since I got my LTs, 4th gear seems to pull like 3rd used to. Just lots of torque and then more torque. These cars love open roads.

Oh yea they pull hard. On the way back to the beach from Disney world i raced a porshe non turbo and we were neck and neck to 130. I backed off but we got there in no time. S197's love high revs for sure.
