It would help if we knew what wheels you currently have.

I am assuming those are the 18" Ford Bullitts for the new model Bullitt. Have yet to see those in deep dish. None on the AM site.
Getting 2 rears painted to match will be quite a chore. Plus if you pick a non-Ford rim the center Pony caps probably won't fit.

darn

the plan is 18x9 and 18x10. and I need 275 wide in back minimum for my blower planned.

wonder how much it would run me to buy the cheapest bullet style rims I can find, then get them powerdercoated to match my current setup. deepdish is fine. I just want to maintain or re-create that dark grey gunmetal I currently have

ultimate goal is to keep it looking as stock as possible so people continue to mistake it for a V-6 until I open the can o' whoop *** on them
Instead of trying to find a wider tire or wheel how about getting a much stickier tire like some drag radials for summer use. What really increases positive friction is a better clutch assembly when you add your blower, that with some sticky tires overcome the need for wider rubber. Its not like you'd be pushing 800 or 900 hp.That Pro-X scared the bejesus out of me with 750hp.

Just get them widened & use a spacer behind to center it in the wheel housing. Cheaper than buying 4 wheels that match. The widening will be done to the back.

widening is not an option for me.

the S/H charges alone to send to that shop and return would be more expensive than buying a whole new set of rims.

and yes, i have the OEM Bullitts that you can only get on a 08/09 Bullitt. so far, it's the only rim I've found that have that machined edge. which makes it even doubly difficult to match

for rubber selection, I am most likely going to run the Nitto 555, or the Wide Oval. Hawaii has horrible roads, so I need decent radials. slicks or Semi-slicks are not an option.

slightly different question then.

I know some people run 275 on their 8.5" wide rims...is this safe?

what about a 285 tire?

I don't do cornering, or racing...autocross or any of that. Just normal everyday driving on the street with some sprited straight-line stuff
