And if they dont sound like that when you shift normally, what do i have to do in order to get that blow off type sound?

I'm pretty sure the owner of this car is a member here cause ive seen some of his posts! so chime in if you are around.

Thanks!!

I could be wrong, but I don't think the standard Procharger S/C BOV sounds like that...but I will say that every Procharger S/C I have ever heard has a very loud whistle while at idle (see around 2:40)...

your video almost sounds like he installed a sequential BOV. usually you see those more on turbo setups, but the general idea is instead of one large blow off, it shutters the pressure down so say, between a shift you do not have to recompress the entire volume of air inside the intake. If that is what he did, I would say he is running a decent level of boost and swapped out his BOV. You never know though, hes in a kinda narrow area and between some concrete walls you might just be getting a weired echo.

Every procharger setup I have heard has that wobble. Every single one on youtube has it. even prochargers website videos have it. Thats how it sounds. And correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the Paxton has that wobble also.

I want a procharger because i can still use my plenum cover and fuel rail covers. With a twinscrew i have to ditch them.

So you guys are sure thats just a stock procharger sound?? cause thats the sound i want and i just want to be sure that what i will have....

listen to the second video... there is a blow off just not like the first.

Also, having a twin screw I just want to say this.... GET OVER TWIN SCREWS... holy crap there nice but everyone is like blah blah blah, dont get this or that... Just shut up, let him get what he wants. Wow my twin scew makes more power down way low.... next time I want to race somone below 3k rpms I'll keep that in mind. Everyone is just hoping on this twinscrew bandwagon and saying nothing else is good without really looking at just how good the other options really are.

Boomer had great points about why he would want to not replace the whole top of his motor, and he can make just as much or even more with a non twin scew setup.
