s197 and 66 mustang wheel size differences

I am selling my wheels and a person with a 66 mustang contacted me and asked if my wheels would fit on his car. is there a spacer or adapter he can get to make the wheels fit?

I'm pretty positive he will need a 1" spacer somebody else chime in....

thanks for the help. looks like the classic guys are saying that he needs 1.5 in spacers.

I was at Mustang Concepts(Aurora,CO).They installed GT 500 wheels there with 1 1/2" spacers on a 66'Coupe. I couldn't believed how nice they fit.
