The HP increase is negated by the added weight of said ThrottleBodySpacer.

My car is in my parents name as a leisure vehicle so thats how i afford it
My parents got a screaming deal on my car ($8k on craigslist under waranty!) and sold it to me for $14k and i pay 250 a month for the car and 60 for insurance. And i drive it 90 miles a day 3 days a week to school and 10 5 days a week to work...

Since I have the Throttle Body Spacer I will add my $0.02. I had the throttle body spacer on my car for about a year before I removed it. With the spacer on or off the car I did not notice any difference. Throttle response was the same and my mpg was the same with or with out the spacer. I put my car on the dyno back in February the blue graph and again last Friday the red graph to check my A/F ratio. The only difference between the two runs is the Throttle Body spacer was on the car in February. Yes I know the temp was different and the humidity was different, but that should not affect the hp and tq curve. With the spacer on I got that little peek in hp and tq in the mid range. Will that little peek in hp and tq help in a race, I doubt it. But I paid for the thing so I put the spacer back on to get that little peek in hp and tq back.

I need more info. But let’s keep it on a friendly note. I did not post to debate anyone I am just adding my $0.02. Okay I see what you are saying. I have work on mechanical and electronic equipment for 20 years and in my experience Temp and humidity does not affect the power curve. They will affect the peek performance though and that’s why dyno shops use the SAE factor. It's the same type of factor I use when I tune control loops.

I really couldn't care less what anyone else thinks. Did the TBS on my car didn't add any hp/tq? Don't know, don't care. But it did resolve a throttle response issue I had with the car.
