It's the same crap here in Canada. I talked with 9 different dealerships when I was looking to purchase my GT. Of those 9 only 2 of them didn't **** me off. I bought it from the dealer who actually treated me with respect and got the answers to ALL my questions. At first my salesman admitted he wasn't technical but he would get me the info I wanted, and he did. Because of this he got the sale. He also got the sale because there was none of this arm twisting "you gotta buy it today" crap. The second I detect this I am out the door. Are any sales people reading this?????

ORIGINAL: 05RoushGT

I live in Dallas and went to 3 dealerships before I found one I felt comfortable purchasing mine from. Very, very bad experiences with the first two dealerships or should I say very bad salesmen.
Which dealer did you end up going with? I dealt with Troy Aikman Ford off of Central, they are buttheads. "We are going to give you the best deal ever on a Mustang". Their "best" deal started at 3k over sticker on a V6!! I heard a lot of "I just sold one last weekend for 2k over sticker, but I'm going to give you a GREAT deal." Sticker was as low as they would go, and the trade-in offer on my old car sucked. I also talked to a dealer in Terrill (I live near there) and they were OK, but inventory was low. I bought my car from Skyline off of I-30, they were OK. Their service department has been outstanding though.

==the court made the dealership sell her a new Eldorado for ONE Dollar!==

LOL! Someone finally won one against The Man

As long as customers grudgingly give them money they will continue.
If everyone (not just a few of us) would simply walk away as soon as they figure out they've been BS'd, it would stop. Of course I realize that we customers are far too weak to do that; therefore it continues.
