Ordering New 2010 GT - Have Question

Sorry, my typing was off, I did mean rear end, In the Track Pack II there is a strut brace in the trunk (I do not have a picture on hand), but it is a metal bar connecting the read struts (just like the strut brace in the front). It is just above the floor in the trunk.

I just went and looked on mine, and there is no brace in the back, and I've read a lot about the Track Pack, and have never heard this mentioned before.
While I'd like to think it was for weight reduction, I think its much more likely that they removed the spare to save some money. The track pack is a tremendous value. I bet they don't make much on it.

As far as the cost of the $1500 track pack goes it's almost nothing when you consider some of the things it consists of. You get the $500 3.73 axle package AND the $700 19" painted nickel rims. Thats $1200 right there and you still get the $1600 performance tires (ugh!) and the suspension upgrades. It's actually a great deal if you want those upgrades anyways.
Downside though for me was the expensive tires, no machined alum rims and the fact you can't get the glass roof. Plus, I'm not sure how much the suspension upgrades would benefit me in reality
