my insurance difference at 21 between a GT and V6 convertible was $650 for the GT and $630 for the V6 every 6 months. That turned me off at first but then I checked other insurance companies and saved a lot. I was an occasional driver on my moms van and they wanted $1300 every 6 months on a basic hard top v6 with me as an occasional driver still o nthe van. I am insured on my own policy with the vert and pay only $630.
