Once I was off the clutch I would have to yank it out of gear so it didn't buck when traffic slowed again. And the 4.10 gears just exascerbated it. The stock cams with smoother idle, I can release the clutch from idle w/o bucking or stalling in traffic. It just makes my life much, much better .

I have a similar driving environment since I travel mopac all the way from South Austin to North then onto 183 for a bit. Hopefully since I have an auto, it'll be a little better. We'll see!

I'll takes me some of that NHRA top fuel sputtering.

I really like the sound of those SPRs though. Stage 2 or 3.

I'm definitely going to wait and investigate blower/cam combos. It's about damn time I boosted this car. I can't sell it w/o seeing it blown and there's really no bolt-on's other than udp's and delete plates which I refuse to do...just don't see the point for <10whp. Cams, heads and blower I'll want to match...IF I even go there. Just plopping a centri s/c and putting down 400+ EMISSIONS legal whp sounds really good to me about now.

I did get 25.2 avg mpg around town today with the stock cams. I was lucky to get 18mpg with the hot rods!!! I forgot what decent gas mileage was...

THESE are the cams I should have initially gone with. If I planned to stay n/a these are the ones I would go with.

He sent me some idle vids... these are w/o a doubt the cams you want in an N/A application.

I wish I knew how people did this. Bone stock, I averaged 20 mpg 50-50 city/hwy driving. I got a CAI & tune and went to 19mph. I got an E-Force and went to 18 mpg.

Yeah, yeah, buy I Honda Civic, I know....I want to have my cake and eat it too, especially since other people apparently can.
