+1 providing it hasn't been sitting in a moldy container. Most any condensate that's allowed to collect in a somewhat sterile container does not contain the heavy metals and other crap that tap water contains.

I'd be more concerned why the coolant is low if it seems to keep needing more.

There is no such thing as 'clean' rain water nowdays.
Back in 1776, maybe but in 2009, no.
Distilled water, Its cheap.
Tap water is full of contaminents.
