Default So much for the new rims........

Well..... I was just washing the car. I was cleaning the rims and saw a whole lot of stains that wouldnt come off. My wife informed me that she use some "Wheel Cleaner" on them and the tires at car show when I was walking around, and DIDNT RINSE IT OFF!! Now there is all kinds of clear coat that is gone and oxidised aluminum all over. I said WHAT WOULD POSSESS YOU TO DO SUCH A THING!!! It says on the bottle to rinse thoroughly and dont leave on more than 30 seconds! I had them 3 days before she trashed them!
Looks horrible! What possesses women to do what they do?

I cant get her to clean the kitchen, but the rims she did REAL GOOD!

Ouch.

You mentioned she used it on the tires too; did it do any damage or scar a layer off the sidewall rubber?

I have the same idea with you. Great! Thanks for sharing.
Glad to hear you're using this: I plan to keep it much more aggressively up-to-date than has been the case in the past, but don't hesitate to let me know if you find errors or need clarifications.
