those dang Rattles!
I have a rattle noise that happens pretty often, it is coming from the passenger airbag dash area. I know this because when I have the passenger press on the dash it stops rattling... Anyone experience this? If so, whats the fix??
I know simple things like putting the windows down, or turning up the radio = fix, however I usually drive with the radio off to hear the car purr
Any suggestions are welcome!
Thanks!

FORD: 2005-2009 Mustang
ISSUE:
Some 2005-2009 Mustang vehicles may exhibit a rattle noise where the A-pillar meets the dash area. This rattle may be due to worn, missing or off location tape under the dash panel and/or A-pillar dual lock (velcro) fastener(s) not seated.

I have a rattle occaisionally under the car when I am cruising and put the car under a slight load. I saw the thread about the piece in between the engine and transmission, but I thought that was for a car with a manual tranny, mine's an automatic. I have looked at the heat shields and the look fine, not out of shape or touching anything. Any ideas? 2007 and only 8000 miles on car.

There is a plastic insert behind the inner door latch lever that I found rattles a great deal. I used double-sided tape behind both of them, which work perfectly. Be advised, though, that if you ever need to take apart the door panel (ie: replacing speakers), it will make it a bit harder to pop that panel off. It's possible, just a bit trickier.
