My brake reservoir is coverd in dirt.. why?
#3
The cap for the brake fluid reservoir on our cars tend to leak a little. The fluid will collect dirt, the bigger issue is if you look below the reservoir you will probably notice paint bubbling on the firewall and frame from the fluid.

Just stumbled on these threads a couple days ago that have a quick and easy fix for this problem. You simply add a neoprene washer under the stock rubber seal in the cap and problem solved!
