Default For the Love of Sound

Since my car has been in the body shop, i have been noticing more and more S197's on the road.. yes, this is a **** off with me without mine.. When i pass one or see one going through a red light, i roll down the window.. I stick my head out and i get sick.. I was in the 'Boro taking the gf shopping.. A nice S197 came through the parking lot, some type of kit, nice paint job, sucky sound.. Seen 50-75 GTs that day, stock to modded, but most had no sound.. uugghh.. this is frustrating..

Am i the only one that thinks that sound is important to our cars??

Yea I like a throaty sounding car, but to be honest a stock GT sounds the best to me when it comes to stock cars. I saw a new camaro SS2 that sounded like a hybrid the other day.

Sound is very important but honestly I don't think these 3V's sound that good. It's hard to make them sound like a muscle car unless you want to anti up the money for some cams.

Ive been driving around with no mufflers for the past two months just so i can enjoy the sound. Drones a bit, but doesnt bother me. Looks funny with nothing coming out of the bumper but it sounds great.

I think sound is one off my car's best points. I love the way it sounds, I get at least 1 compliment on the street every 3 days

I love the sound of our cars, but the stock exhaust is just not enough. Yeah I hate when I see a nice mustang all fixed up and then it has stock exhaust with the wimpy 2 1/2 inch tips on it! It is a real let down. I mean I know that an off road mid pipe is a little much for alot of guys, but at least a set of axle backs or something to increase the sound of the exhaust.
