I thought I read somewhere about clearance issues with a stock hood and GT500 bumper/grill?

doesn't seem to be any clearance issue. Mellowyellow has a huge 30+ page thread that I tried to read through. Never saw any mention of that. I think he ran a stock hood with the GT500 front-end for about 1 yr before going with the repro KR hood.

we'll see. I have the parts list, and I've been pricing things out. hardest part of the whole deal will be the shipping to out here in Hawaii. My Supercharger last year cost me $300 to ship out here. Vice the $50 anybody in the lower 48 would have paid. I need to befriend the Dealership Parts guy. See if he can cut me a deal for cost plus 5% and a few cases of beer.

your hood wont fit gt500 front end...all the angles are different

wouldn't be so certain about that assumption

seems to work perfectly fine here on 2 different cars. looks 100% OEM to me with great alignment
