vortec is a good blower as well
it just depends on how you drive your car
high rpms = vortec (centrifugal) blower
lower rpms = Saleen (positive displacement) blower
the Vortec only makes 1-2 psi at idle, and doesn't make full boost until at least 2,000 rpm. the higher the RPM's, the more boost it will make. so you are essentially driving around with varias levels of boost depending on speed, and engine rpms
the Saleen will have full boost at 1,000 rpm, and the boost never varies. a consistent 6 psi (or whatever you have it pullied for)
niether is necessarily better than the other. it just depends on how you drive. I personally prefer the saleen style blowers. I rarely exceed 3,000 rpm...so I prefer to have full boost available at all times.
others prefer to run through the gears and enjoy the way the vortec feels.
either way, you'll have fun.

The Vortech is a good unit, and reliable as well. As the guy above said, the power delivery is different than the Saleen. With a set of gears, you'll be in boost almost immediately with the Vortech though. I have to try not to spin my tires most of the time if I give it any large amount of throttle at all. The car drives like it has an intake/tune when not in boost.

The tune will be sent from brenspeed ralph and most kits have a instruction manual to go with them so as long as they follow it step by step you will be fine cause the tune will be coming from Brenspeed. Make sure you find a shop that can read english atleast... Good luck Ralph and nice looking stang, I like it better without all the chrome...
