Rumbling sound/vibration @ hwy speed
I'm battling a problem on my '05 GT w/ 5 speed that has gotten worse over the last couple of months. At highway speeds (between 60-70ish mph) it has developed a very noticeable rumble sound which is now accompanied by slight vibration throughout the cabin. Before and beyond the 60-70 mph range I don't notice any of these symptoms. I have rotated the tires front -> back and I can't tell whether it has made any difference - the sound is such that I can't tell from in the cabin whether it is from the front or back. Tire pressure is good, etc. Nothing visible wrong with the tires (no cupping, etc). The sound is speed related, not engine speed (put it in neutral at speed and the noise continues). Car still has the original Pirelli PZeros @ 21k miles.
Any insight would be great!

i have a slight vibration from my car also, but its from getting rear ended on the freeway. brackets on the bumper are broken, and the impact bar is crushed, so whenever my car runs it rattles pretty badly. have you checked your transmission? my friend has an '05 gt and he had problems similar to yours and it turned out to be something with his transmission
