Can't Initiate Calls via Sync Bluetooth
Hi,
My non-nav GT recently started having trouble initiating calls via Sync's bluetooth.
I have a Blackberry Tour that has been working great for a couple of months - now when I try to call out, it pauses and says "Call Ended" - never initiates the call.
Sync Services also won't connect - it says "Connecting" but then times out after a few seconds with a message that it was unable to dial out.
I can dial successfully from the phone and it uses the mic/speakers as the audio device, but the readout on the dash just says "unknown" rather than the phonebook entry as it used to do.
I did a master reset in sync (phone / advanced / master reset), removed and re-paired sync - still the same results. The phonebook transfers successfully and understands my commands, but it just won't dial.
Wife's phone (diff carrier, diff manufacturer) does the same thing.
Any ideas?

you have to reconnect your phone to the sync. when i got my update i had to do the whole thing i did when i first got the car. go to add a new phone (or device...dont remember the command) and get the little code. then find the sync through your phone, etc. basically do the same thing you did when you first connected your phone. i had the same problem and from what i saw it seems like after the update it messes with your phone.

I had a similar problem with my Blackberry and sync. I did the same things you did deleted the phone and repaired etc. What finally solved it for me was hard reseting the phone after deleting it from the car and then re pairing the phone to the mustang. To hard reset the phone you have to remove the battery. Once I did this everything went back to normal and has been so for a month now.

I had a similar issue with my Blackberry Storm after I updated the phone with the latest software. Did what the others did..deleted the phone from my Sync list and then re-paired it and all is well...
Now if I can just get the iTouch with it's latest software load to play nice with the Sync I would be all set...
