2008/2009 Bullitt has the Track Pack
To do the install, I jacked the car up so the front tires were about 1 foot off the ground, and then placed the frame on jackstands.
that gave me about 3" of clearance between my chest and the tranny crossmember. I had to shimmy from the bumper to the tranny. Didn't have enough room to crawl under there from the side.
mighty tight...but as I mentioned, I am 6'3" @ 280 lbs. Smaller guys will have a much easier time IMO.
played around on my commute to/from work today. yep, enjoying the shifter. just need to adjust to it now. still keep expecting the shock feeling
for the Bullitt, this is a spare tire delete. also deletes the jack & wrench.
in their place, they install a weird little air pump and a can of gel tire sealant...bull**** IMO. all to save a little weight. I'd rather have a real spare tire.
also, my car sits about 1/2" lower in the rear than a normal GT...again, more Bullitt stuff.in their place, they install a weird little air pump and a can of gel tire sealant...bull**** IMO. all to save a little weight. I'd rather have a real spare tire.

huh?
I didn't have any bolt on order...or did you mean how did I get around the PITA front bolt problem?
2009 models have a stupid drive tunnel insualtor matte.
I had to cut about a 6" square out of it. that gave me just barely enough room to wiggle that bolt into place. so yeah, took me about 1 hour of fighting the thing

just a bit. I feel like I was doing 2 a day drills tonight.
wiggling under the car, and then out isn't exactly fun. especially each time I forgot a wrench
If you have access to a vehicle lift, use it. Jackstands add some difficulty to the job

Congrats on your new shifter. I love mine except for the annoying rattle it makes
