Help on should I buy this used Roush
#12
I have been watching ebay and autotrader for a couple months now, it actually seems like most of the cars on ebay that catch my attention have reserve prices on them that don't get met and the ones with buy it nows have been more expensive than the ones listed on autotrader.
I started out just looking for a used supercharged mustang but have now become pretty sold on the interior of the roush

I have recently had my car appraised at 16K-17K for trade-in value. I have not tried to retail it.
My car seems similar to yours, but has 38K miles.
Hope this helps.
Anyone have any idea what I should try to retail it for?

You know if this guy bought this car back in 2005 perhaps he was dumb enough to pay $26K over the base price for a Roush Stage 1 that the dealer put together some bogus window sticker.
I do not think the guys price is that out of line for the car as it is nice and it is a Roush Stage 1 with a super charger. But I dont like the bull**** since he knows what his car is and where the heck is the rest of the window sticker.. oh and there is a Roush window sticker that goes with it as well.. Who knows what else he is hiding....

I seem to recall that prior to the Shelby GT500 coming onto the scene in 2007, the others (Saleen, Roush) were marking up significantly, but it was a stage 1 with aftermarket tinkering. we know that stage 1 is pretty much appearance only, and we also know that aftermarket power adders, while fun, don't really increase resale value because you pretty much assume that the prior owner has driven the sh** out of his car.
